Welcome to P~A~A~N! I am Sinovess, founder of P~A~A~N as well as PLR (P~A~A~N Location Representative) for North Carolina as well as the US in general. I have been Pagan for about a decade and have been an admirer and had respect for animals as far back as I can remember (That's close to 3 decades for those into math). P~A~A~N was started locally here in Charlotte, NC initially due to a problem with a local zoo and it's 'caretake' of their habitants. This then grew globally (fortunately) to include those around the world wishing to make a difference in the animals' lives in their area. The main purpose for P~A~A~N is to help animals in need (tame or wild) as well as to help disband any misconceptions associated with the word 'Pagan'. Hopefully, in time, this goal will slowly be attained. In the meantime, whether you're Pagan or not, please take a look around the site and help an animal out where you can.
